Blake’s is now a senior at Santa Ynez Valley High School and his passion is basketball but he is also a very good volleyball player.  He played forward for the Santa Ynez High School varsity basketball team and this year they made the CIF playoffs for the first time in over 28 years.  The team made it to the quarterfinals of the playoffs in Division 4 before they lost to Milken High School, the eventual winner of the division. 

Blake was named the 2017 Los Padres League Defensive Player of the Year. 

Now in his Senior year he is currently playing volleyball and doing quite well.  In his sophomore year his team went to the semi-finals in CIF Division 4 and lost to Saddleback Valley Christian, the eventual division winner.  Last year the team also made the CIF Division 4 playoffs and they lost to Cypress in the quarterfinals. 

Next year he will be off to college and there is a possibility he will go to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
