Playa Langosta and Tamarindo, Costa Rica

In July, Betz and I flew to Costa Rica to spend a week with Cary and Lorin Schwartz at their condo in Playa Langosta, which is just south of Tamarindo. Cary is a friend from high school who I just got back in touch with after almost 30 years. He and his wife, Lorin, have a very nice condo right on the beach. They are on the top floor and have an area on the roof which is great for watching sunsets.

Betz has been wanting to zip line so we went to http://canopypuraaventura.com/

which is located a few miles from Playa Langosta. The have 11 zip lines and you ride horses up to the first line and they take the horses to the end of the last line so you can ride back. This particular canopy has double cables which eased some of my apprehension as to the line being able to hold me. After the first line, the rest got more enjoyable. I would recommend this particular canopy for anyone looking for some fun in Costa Rica.

We had a great time and met some very nice people.
