Lake Havasu, AZ

After returning from Nashville, TN, we took our boat and went to Lake Havasu, AZ with Blake and his friend Jimmy.  We stayed at London Bridge Resort for three nights.  It was the day after Labor Day and there were very few boats on the Lake.  This was a nostalgia trip for me and Betz since we hadn’t been up there with the boat for years.  Took Blake and Jimmy out to Copper Canyon where they jumped off the rocks and almost had the lake to ourselves.  Betz and I used to take Scott and Rochelle to the Colorado River where we camped in a tent at Big Bend Resort.  The whole area all the way down to Parker has really developed since the 1970s.  We stopped at the Road Runner on the River for lunch.  Very few boats on the River.

While in Havasu we had dinner with Bob and Bella Williams who had come to the Lake to visit.
